Carrie Underwood Wouldn’t mind being called an American Idol
The Country singer, Carrie Underwood, said she wouldn’t mind being called an “American Idol” and she is proud of that
She said her name would not be removed from the show soon. During the fifth season of the show, there is some word about a conflict where the show asked Kelly Clarkson to use her music for the show.
For Underwood, it is a different story.
Kelly Clarkson would love it if nobody ever mentioned her name and the show’s title in the same sentence again. Also, she prefers not to talk about the show in the interview.
There’s no way anyone outside of Fort Worth, Texas, would ever know the name Kelly Clarkson had it not been for the hit show. She admitted that.
Not because American Idol and people will buy Carrie Underwood’s first album, but because of her beautiful singing. Her song, “Jesus Take the Wheel”, has been on the top country chart for 3 months following its release.
Unlike other winners, she doesn’t do pop songs, but she is a Country crossover. She said everyone around her knew what she wanted to do and she will not sing strictly pop because that’s just not herl.
You go, country girl!
