LeAnn Rimes Honored as Humanitarian
LeAnn Rimes, a country singer, will be honored with a Humanitarian Award by the International Entertainment Buyers Association on Oct. 16 in Nashville. She is actively involved with the Children’s Miracle Network, the Coalition to Salute American Heroes and numerous animal rights organizations.
In related news, Rimes’ next album, Family, has been bumped to an Oct. 9 release date. The project was originally scheduled for Aug. 28.
The Humanitarian Award serves to honor someone that has contributed to help the less fortunate, either through their fund raising efforts or musical contributions. LeAnn has demonstrated a sincere effort to help others through her continued involvement with such charities as The Children’s Miracle Network, The Coalition to Salute American Heroes and numerous animal-friendly organizations throughout the U.S.
She is such an ideal celebrity. Forget about Lohan, Britney and Paris!
