When we talk about walkman, we know it’s Sony. What if about walkman and mobile phone combination? Of course it must be Sony Ericsson.
The Sony Ericsson W880i is the latest Sony Walkman innovation and features all of the latest technological marvels while adding some innovative features of its own to the list.
First, you will notice the W880i is slightly larger than expected, it isn’t necessarily too big but is definitely larger than music mobile phones are normally. The phone sports the renowned Walkman logo which is no surprise as the musical and entertainment support of the phone is surpassed by none as of this moment in time.
The main selling point of the W880i mobile phone is its ability to operate as a real music player. The rich sound is great to have and extra volume and other music related buttons are included. However, the internet browsing capability is another large selling point. Java application support and extras such as a guitar chords database make this phone perfect for the entertainment-hungry generation.
You will get a pretty good seven hours of talk time with this phone, making recharging a thing of the past. The battery can literally last you a few days minimum, assuming you don’t talk on your mobile every waking moment of course. This comes in very handy when you want to experience the best music quality, as better music means more energy drain.
If you are looking for a good MP3 player that is an equally good mobile phone, this is for you. It’s very doubtful you will find a better phone with so many features geared towards music enthusiasts. Recommended!
