Review: Kristine W. – The Power of Music
O-M-G … the power of this album! Those are the words that went through my mind as I was listening to this new release from Dance and Club Music Icon – Kristine W.!
When I received the new materials from her Marketing Manager via the KrpMag founder, I knew this was going to be good. Perhaps it was my faith that it was going to be good, I mean after all – Kristine W – Right ?! Did you know that she has MORE #1 dance hits than Janet Jackson AND Madonna ? REALLY! Have you realized that some of the best nights you’ve had groovin’ on the floor with your boys and your girls and your peeps, that you were workin’ it out to a Kristine W hit ?! Do yourself a favor – Google her, check her out on YouTube, surf her site!
Have you ever owned an album that put you in your ‘groove’ for a night out with your friends, or that just gave you energy and happy feet to lift you up and put your mind and your soul where it needed to be? THIS is one of those albums! I’ve owned this type of album in the past. Picture this, it’s a weekend morning – I’m feeling sluggish, got things to do and no motivation to do them. Coffee ain’t working, an energy drinks don’t even sound good. So what’s a guy to do? Put in a CD that will get your blood pumping, and your feet movin’! Enter “The Power of Music”…
So as I’m working through the first few tracks of this album, I’m feelin’ it … I mean really feelin’ it. This album is for TODAY! I mean like, right now – for the things that are going on in our world, or in our societies; all the things that can bring us down and pollute our souls. Kristine is saying HEY YOU, it’s alright … lighten up … everything is fine! She’s saying Be Happy, Love Yourself, Have Fun, Find Your Special Someone and Appreciate Them, Appreciate Each Other … and Let’s Dance, Let it Out, Feel the Love – Be Free!
The Press Release called her the “Queen of Dance” … this she most certainly is, and for me tonite, she’s the Queen of my heart! Also from the Press Release, you got to read this; “The 16-track album features some of the music industry’s most influential players including Grammy-nominated producers Love To Infinity UK, Grammy Award winning producer Hex Hector, guitar legend George Lynch, and a performance by the notorious rapper, Big Daddy Kane, who lends his talents to the album’s title track, “The Power of Music”.”
I’m telling you, it’s big power in a small package. If you don’t add this to your CD collection, party albums, or even your iPod – there will be a void that few artists can fill. Thanks Kristine W! Your home base in Vegas is pretty darn close to me in Phoenix. Perhaps I’ll catch you in a performance soon!
